4 GREAT EMPHASES OF METHODIST CHRISTIANITY

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise...not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

In this new life one's nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and He is equally available to all.

...and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves...

To Him therefore that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.

But as many as received Him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe in his name.

The Spirit itself bears witness with our Spirit, that we are children of God.

...you are to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
