This seminar is for parents of children ages 6 - 16

Beyond the concern of excessive screen time and addiction lies an equally 

(if not greater) and yet often overlooked danger in our children’s social media interactions. This module examines in greater detail the social-emotional risks involved in social media interactions, and how parents can help their children mediate these risks.

About The Speaker

Nigel Wong is a Family Life Educator and Counsellor with TOUCH Parenting, providing training as well as counselling services to various clientele. He has more than 8 years of experience working with youths including those at-risk, conducting Cyber Wellness programmes in TOUCH Leadership & Mentoring.

He has 10 years of experience as an MOE secondary school counsellor, working with students and their parents on cyber wellness, mental health, emotional and behavioural issues. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Counselling from SUSS and is also a certified practitioner for the Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P).
