About The Event
GLOWING YEARS MINISTRY - “HEALTHY COGNITIVE AGEING”
Cognitive ageing is a normal biological process. It is not a disease and not all cognitive decline will end up in dementia. Many factors influence how an individual ages and the extent of cognitive decline. This talk will explore a multifaceted approach to maintaining good cognitive health and introduce reminiscence activities as an evidence-based practice to promote mental stimulation and foster shared memories. Maintaining good cognitive skills can significantly contribute to a higher quality of life and allow seniors to thrive well in their golden years.
