About The Event
“I’m already old; I can’t do much now.” This self-limiting mindset can impose a barrier that hinders spiritual vitality and meaningful contribution. Drawing on the concept of productive ageing, this talk challenges negative perceptions of ageing. It highlights the opportunities that later life offers through practical insights on spiritual formation, purposeful living, and transformation from the inside out.

About The Speaker
Cheh Hoon is a counsellor and gerontologist with over 20 years of experience in the social service sector. She works in the civil service and volunteers with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) Gerontology programme as well as a local hospice. Additionally, she serves on the TRAC Board of Seniors Ministry, where she contributes to the review of initiatives for older adults. A lifelong learner, she is passionate about helping seniors age with purpose, faith, and hope.
