1. OBJECTIVES​

1.1 Covenant Community Methodist Church (CCMC) is pleased to invite interested individuals to participate in this competition to capture beautiful and wonderful moments from our Anniversary and its related events on 10 September 2023.

2. ELIGIBILITY​​

2.1 The competition is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents residing in Singapore, with the exception of individuals appointed as judges for the contest.

2.2 Photos submitted must be taken by the participant on Sunday, 10 September 2023 before, during or after CCMC’s 29th Anniversary Service, during Fellowship Lunch and its related events.

​

2.3 Each participant can submit one entry only, with a maximum of THREE photos per participant for this contest.

​

2.4 Photos used for commercial, broadcast and/or other competition purposes will not be eligible.

​

2.5 Photos submitted must not contain any image that are deemed indecent, blasphemous, libellous, offensive, pornographic, insensitive, or otherwise unlawful or depict any inappropriate activity.

​

2.6. The closing date for the submission is Sunday, 17 September 2023, 11.59pm. Late entries will not be accepted.

​

2.7 CCMC reserves the right to disqualify any entry and/or participant, in the event of a failure to meet the terms and conditions of this contest.​

3. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES​

3.1 Photo(s) are to be submitted by WhatsApp to +65 98345669 with Name and Email, OR emailed to comms@ccmc.org.sg with Name and Mobile.​

3.2 Each participant can submit up to three (3) entries.

​

3.3 The Organisers reserve the right to reject entries with incomplete details. All submissions must be received by 23:59 on 17 September 2023. 

​

3.4 Photos submitted should accurately reflect the subject matter as it appears in the viewfinder. Minor editing is allowed for basics such as brightness, contrast, exposure, and simple cropping. All manipulations to the photo(s) should be disclosed upon entry.

​

3.5 Photos submitted shall not include watermarks, borders, or signatures of any kind. Full-colour photographs are preferred for submission.

​

3.6 Photos submitted should be in the highest resolution possible as your phone/camera will allow. The organisers reserve the right to reject photos that are of poor quality, blurry and/or low resolution.

4. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY​

​4.1 All participants acknowledge that they are the original, rightful creator and copyright owner of the submitted photos. ​

​

4.2 By entering the contest, you grant CCMC license to use the materials contained in the entries, in full or partially, to advertise, publicise, in various media of its choosing, including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, publications, radio, television, public screenings and any other electronic media including, but not limited to the Internet, or other purposes in a manner we deem fit.

4.3 Participants are responsible for taking all steps necessary to protect the rights of person(s) depicted, including but not limited to obtaining their permission. Participants are responsible for the resolution of any legal issues arising from their work.

4.4 Participants must ensure that there is no plagiarism or violation of copyrighted work.

5. CRITERIA/JUDGING​

5.1 Photos received will be judged on the basis of theme relevance, technical quality, composition, originality, creativity, artistic merit and style.​

​

5.2 A panel will be formed to evaluate all submissions and nominate up to 10 best photographs submitted. The decision of this panel will be final.

​

5.3 The nominated photos will be displayed on CCMC’s social media for public voting. The top 3 winners will be chosen based on the vote counts for each photo.​​

6. PRIZES​

6.1 The top 3 winners will be awarded as follows:

• 1st Prize: $200 worth of voucher(s)

• 2nd Prize: $100 worth of voucher(s)

• 3rd Prize: $50 worth of voucher(s)

All nominated entries will be featured on CCMC socials and digital magazine, Loaves + Fishes.

6.2 Prizes are subject to change at the discretion of CCMC without prior notice. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or in kind.

​

6.3 CCMC reserves the right to modify the competition prizes and its rules and regulations as and when necessary, without prior notice.

​

6.4 CCMC will not be liable for any fault with any of the prizes and any issues should be referred to the Manufacturer/Supplier.​

7. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS​​

7.1 Submission of entries signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions of the contest.

​

7.2 While the organisers will exercise as much due care as possible during the collection, selection and storage of photos, they shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or destruction of the photos submitted.

​

7.3 By interacting with, submitting information to or signing up for any organized activity offered by Covenant Community Methodist Church (“CCMC”), you agree and consent to CCMC collecting, using, disclosing and sharing your personal data for the purposes of such organized activity, any of the purposes as set out in CCMC’s Personal Data Protection Policy and/or also for the purposes in relation to administration and Body Life of CCMC.
